These 11 Dresses Prove How Girls Invite Men For Rape

It is said that girls are responsible for rape more than boys because they provoke them by wearing such dresses which instigate and arouse their feelings. Hence, by exciting and inviting men to rape them, girls should be blamed and questioned before boys. Of course, when they wear revealing clothes and expose their body parts, a guy’s blood will naturally boil with the heat emerging in his body after seeing sexy and seductive body and at that time, the girl seems to be only an object to quench the thirst they themselves stimulate in men.
Let’s take a look at such dresses which invite men to rape a girl:

1. Shorts

2. Jeans

3. Short Skirt

4. Midi

5. Shirt

6. Leggings

7. Top

8. Kurti

9. Salwar Suit

10. Saree

11. Burka

Is any dress left that girls commonly wear? I guess we covered all! Now what should a girl wear for not to get raped? And if they wear only normal clothes, why are they raped? So here, whose fault is this? Is it of the girl who puts on simple clothes and still gets raped or is it the guy who rapes no matter whatever girls wear? Answer itself is here: It’s a man who is wholly and solely responsible for rapes that are increasing by leaps and bounds. At least I believe so! REAL MEN DON’T RAPE
TEACH “DON’T RAPE” TO BOYS RATHER THAN TEACHING “DON’T GET RAPED” TO GIRLS

Let HER grow!!!

I was the only child. After 14 years of the birth of their first child, my parents were happy to hear the euphony of a newborn baby’s sounds. They were happy, actually ecstatic. I had never seen them so contented. I too, was overjoyed to have a sister.

But, the people around us didn’t seem to be happy. Lot of people came to the hospital to see the new member of our family; some brought flowers; some, fruits; some, toys and some, cute pink frocks. They were people of different caste, profession and religion. But, one thing was similar. Almost all of them advised my mother to have another baby – to take a chance to give birth to a boy. Many of them said,“She is so unlucky, she has two girls.” I didn’t quite understand this concept then.  Isn’t giving birth to a child the happiest feeling? Probably, not.
According to census 2011, sex ratio of children of 0-6 years in rural areas is 923 females for 1000 males. It is lower in urban areas; it is 905 females for 1000 males. India and China is responsible for 80 per cent of world’s missing women. MacPherson estimates that 100,000 abortions every year continue to be performed in India solely because the foetus is female.
Though there is almost equal enrolment of both sexes in primary schools, a female child still lacks equality when it comes to higher education and decision-making. Though the number of enrolment in schools have increased, the problem of attendance still persists. A girl might not experience outright discrimination; but a lot of times there are discriminations that are too subtle. Her brother might be served more nutritious food, sent to a better school, given more freedom in comparison to her. Preference of a male child, dowry, and responsibility of the security of a girl child in these times has engendered gender discrimination.
Haryana, which has one of the lowest sex-ratios in the country, has taken a subtle step to create awareness about the saving the girl child. The Haryana Women and Child Development department has proposed to the State Election Commission to stamp the logo of “Beti Bachao, beti Padhao’ on the voters’ hands in addition to the indelible ink which is applied on the finger. With the launch of ‘Beti bachao, Beti Padhao’, Prime Minister Modi has ensured that girls become independent socially and financially. This scheme, if works to the extent Mr. Modi desires, will be a boon for India.
These statistics might not invoke in you the sense of depth of this problem. But when you see your mother, sister, friend and partner facing atrocities under the name of gender biases, you might empathise with this problem.
You might say how one can change this deep-rooted issue at an individual level. On this International Day of the Girl Child, take a pledge to educate yourself and others of the trauma a girl child faces. Because educating and influencing people is the first step to a big change.

SPEAKING FROM THE WOMB: A POEM ON FEMALE FOETICIDE. AN UNBORN GIRL CHILD SHARES HER PAIN AND DESIRES!

Save Girl Child
Kind Mother, Beloved Mother, leave your obstinacy aside
If you don’t want to love me, then don’t, but at least let me come into this world!
Tell me, what have I done for which you are going to kill me?
You are the Goddess of affection, why are you acting like a witch?

I have heard that the world is very beautiful
I also want to come there
I also want to fly like a butterfly
I also want to sleep in that world, listening to a lullaby

I don’t need any toys or a swing
I will be happy to sit in your lap
If my brother has done wrong, Oh Mom! You may scold me instead
Oh Mom! You may beat me
But at least let me come into this world!

I will be fine, living in a corner behind the house
I will live there as a silent doll
All of you can eat with utensils made of gold and silver
But I won’t mind,
I will be happy eating on paper plates
If you don’t want to love me, then don’t
But at least let me come into this world!

I am also a part my father
How can he tolerate my death?
Dear Mom! Let the bud become a flower
Don’t kill me inside your womb
If you don’t want to love me, then don’t
But at least let me come into this world!

(Now the girl understands that nothing is going to happen with her tears. No one cares about her. She understands that if she wants to save herself, then she has to stand and fight for herself. She knocked on the door of the court. Now she says….)

I will fight my case myself!
I will revolt against this crime!
Everyone shouts on a murder
I will also shout on my own murder!
Yes! I will also shout on my own murder
I will let the whole world know that
My Mother is my murderer!

Before, the girls were raped and killed in parks and grounds
But now, they are raped and killed during the ultrasound!
Millions of girls die in the ultrasound
They sacrifice their life before even coming into this world

Statutes should be the same and clear for everyone
Your honour (Judge)! I need justice from you
My murder is not punished in your court
But tell me your Honour!
Under which section of the law is my murder justified?

My mom is my murderer, my father is my murderer
The doctor is my murderer who performed the ultrasound
The lawyer is my murderer who tries to justify my death
Even You, your Honour! You are also my murderer by not taking any action
My murder is a conspiracy of the whole society

My pain! My pain!
There is no retribution, even after independence!

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi which is celebrated on Purnima or full moon day in the month of Shravan (popularly known as Saawan) is a day when brothers and sisters reaffirm their pious bonds of affection. It is usually a festival of the Hindus though today people from different religions participate as well.

Around mid-August, on Shravan Purnima, Hindus all over celebrate Raksha Bandhan. "Raksha" means protection, "Bandhan" means bound making the Rakhi the “Bond of Protection”. Raksha Bandhan is celebrated in different forms in different areas and it is also known by the names like rakhi, rakhri, saluna and baleva.

Raksha Bandhan Rituals & Traditions

Sisters tie a special band on their brothers' wrist on the day of Raksha Bandhan as a mark of affection. This thread, which pulsates with sisterly love and sublime sentiments, is rightly called the 'Rakhi'.  It is a way of telling your brother that you will never forget how he teased you about everything, yet fought with those who spoke a single word against you and how you bid him farewell with a smile, and only he saw those tear drops in your eyes. The brother in turn takes a lifelong vow to protect her sister under all circumstances and to always stand by her side.

As per the traditions, the sister on this day prepares the puja thali with diya, roli, chawal and rakhis. She worships the deities, ties Rakhi to the brother(s) and wishes for their well-being. The brother in turn acknowledges the love with a promise to be by the sisters' side through thick and thin and gives her a token gift. Raksha Bandhan tightens the bond of love between the sister and brother.

Legends of Raksha Bandhan

The practice of tying thread was prevalent among the Rajputs and our history is full of instances related to the significance of this tradition. At the time of war when the brave Rajput soldiers prepared to go to the battlefield, the women folk followed the ritual of tying a thread around their wrist after applying a dash of vermilion powder on their forehead. This was considered a sign of good omen and the ladies believed that it would protect their men from the enemy's blow and bring them victory. Today children and women all around the country filling the soldiers with the zest to protect them against the dangers of the enemy tie Rakhi on the wrists of soldiers.

Raksha Bandhan if taken in true sense has a much broader perspective; the festival encompasses true sense of peace and brotherhood. The values propagated by the occasion if inculcated by all human beings can bring the much-needed relief from the ongoing violence and mistrust.

What a Woman Would Want This Independence Day

The age old dowry system, or the custom of paying bride price needs to be done away with. Let’s at least pretend that we are a little civilized.

Begin to teach young boys how to respect women. Yes, that includes not raping them with the eyes.

Focus on education, along with literacy. How else are you going to see women as fellow human beings who deserve respect?

Understand the notion that feminism does not support a matriarchal order. It’s all about equality. If we look at the basics, guys go to school, then so do girls. If you stay out late, then so do we.

We do not wish for our men to be Captain America, then why don’t you try see the difference between a “Chikni Chameli” and an everyday girl. STOP the OBJECTIFICATION!

The simple understanding, that if a woman is wearing hot pants, she is not calling out to your dick. We don’t corner and rape you when we see you prancing around in boxers.

When you see women as people, you will understand that sexuality is a part of the human consciousness. Stop making women guilty about it.

Equal rights also means the right to love. Stop forcing us to marry at a certain age, to the people you have chosen for us. We are rational, thinking human beings. Give us the freedom to choose.

Please stop the pissing contest you hold on roads. There are female drivers who know perfectly well what they are doing, just like men who have no clue how to manage their speed.

Just shut it with the stereotypes. Stop defining the length of clothes deemed as decent and otherwise.
